Women’s Empowerment Impact
We help women recognize their potential as key drivers of economic growth and development. In addition to much needed funding through microloans, YAH also provides essential business education, financial literacy training, and mentorship to help women lift themselves and their families out of poverty.
Here are key reasons we’re seeking microloans for them:
- Women are empowered by having their own finances
- With their own finances, women can make decisions in the home
- Women lost their babies because they had no transportation to health facilities if their husband was away. Now, they can use their savings in emergencies.
- Microloans have increased women’s self-esteem. Although the husband is still the head of the household.
Your $200 gift is a vital catalyst for change:
This one time gift enables a woman, particularly in the Maliarette community to significantly increase her business. This amount, often provides seed capital and has a “multiplier effect” on her income, her family’s well-being, and her community’s economic activity.
We are currently helping 35 women to develop their businesses, but we hope to increase this number to 100 by the end of 2026.
Your donation will help provide women with access to resources like: Business education, discipleship, mentorship and vocational skills training to build sustainable livelihoods.
Inspiring others: We invite you to tell others about our program so that your act of generosity is a motivation for your friends, family, and colleagues to also contribute time or resources to our charitable causes.
