Welcome to Youth Action for Haiti
Youth Action is a Christian non-profit organization that helps alleviate the suffering of children, young people and women living in difficult circumstances in Pignon, Haiti. We empower them to reach their full potential and break cycles of violence and poverty.
Why our Work Matters
Haitian youth face immense challenges every day. Limited access to education and economic opportunities traps many of them in a cycle of poverty. Children who are out of school are more vulnerable to exploitation, abuse, teenage pregnancy, and gang involvement. Youth Action for Haiti addresses these challenges head-on, providing access to education, offering an alternative pathway to protect children from these dangers. Our holistic approach ensures that every child in our program receives the support they need to thrive.

Youth Action for Haiti is dedicated to serving others, following the example of Christ. We keep Jesus Christ at the core of every aspect of our teaching and counseling. Christ’s teaching is our authoritative source for promoting healing, spiritual growth, and lives that bring glory to God.

We empower those in the communities around Pignon, Haiti to identify their needs and find solutions that are tailored to their needs and cultural context, leading to sustainable and effective outcomes.

Our programs are designed to create sustainable, lasting change by providing the youth of Pignon, Haiti with skills and resources they need to succeed for a lifetime.
